They also work with Titans Boxing Club, Olympic Boxing Club, and numerous boxing clubs from around the country that come for visiting and sparring sessions. fundraising event raised €3,000 for autism partnership
Eddie McDonagh, President of the Galway Boxing Club, and James Barrett, President of Titans Boxing Club, are both pivotal figures in the community boxing scene, contributing to the vibrant Galway sports culture.
A fundraising event held at the Galway Boxing Club, specifically at the Westside Boxing Gym, successfully raised €3,000 for Autism Partnership.
The community boxing event on December 17th, 2023, featured exhibition fights by young fighters from clubs all over Ireland. This Galway sports event was a huge success, attracting a large crowd from the Galway community and generating significant donations from individuals and local businesses.
On Thursday, February 22nd, 2024, the cheque was presented to Autism Partnership, who expressed gratitude to all involved, including YSS Security, whose generous support significantly contributed to the event. "The funds raised will make a real difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families," said a representative of Autism Partnership.
The Galway Boxing Club and Titans Boxing Club, who organized the event, thanked all the other clubs and officials whose participation was crucial in making this community boxing event a success.
